We invite the people and businesses in the neighbourhood, in Heide and the surrounding region to become actively engaged in the project. Participation is sought to take the form of:

• Developing ideas and recommendation to the consortium together with the project partners
• Decision making about the energy supply systems that have been researched and presented to them
• Economic participation in the building of and operating their future energy systems infrastructure
• Over the course of this five-year project various formats for the inclusion of the residents will be developed. The partners in charge of this central theme of the project will be guided by the recommendations of the residents and all other affected stakeholders.
